Bella Vista

My recent travels took me to Bella Vista, Arkansas where my lovely girlfriend and her family lives. I stayed for 4 and half days and everyday was very interesting and exciting. The first half day consited of flying mostly and eating!! the second day was the funnest though because we went to go shopping and unlike California when there's dark clouds in Arkansas it means at least rain maybe thunderstorms, and we got a tornado. Seeing i'm very versed in how to detect whether a cloud is a rain cloud or a tornado cloud we headed to the shopping center only to be chased by a tornado (like your going to out run a tornado) yes i made a u-turn and sped like the wind in the opposite direction, but the rain and wind pattern was creating a big G shape and I was in the middle of it. The wind Ripped the car of the road thankfully on to an off-ramp, the rain was coming down in sheets so thick you couldn't see, and the only thing i'm thinking is that I never knew I was going to die like this, but if I am then lets get it over with cause this is a bad dream and I would like to wake up soon. The storm past very quickly and i got everybody to a safe place. The next 3 days were fun too. Whit and I took a Hike behind there house to the top of this gorgeous waterfall. The hike was not really bad, but it was 93 degrees and 87% humidity so it seemed like eternity getting to the falls. It was so beautiful there, and peaceful even though the water was rushing down the rocks 30 feet below. Most of the Northwest Arkasas region is very hilly and packed full of trees, thick shrubs, and lots of water. Overall, it has been the most beautiful place I've been to in the states. Very storybook like and most everybody I meet was very friendly. I cant wait for my next visit in September, 2009. On the Second day we had a family picnic at devils den it was so pretty there.
Whit And I decided to take a ride or a peddle in the peddle boats. it wasn't bad actually when I wasn't the only person peddling! There was a water fall there as well that was simply breathtaking.
